When Percy Jackson goes on a school field trip his who life changes. His math teacher turns into a monster and tries to kill him but luckily his friend Grover saves him. Grover brings Percy to Camp Half Blood. The camp is for kids who are half human and half god. A camp Percy discovers that he has been framed for stealing the god Zeus weapon of choice, his master lightning bolt. Percy must go on a quest with Grover and his new friend Annabeth to convince Zeus of his innocence and find and stop The Lightning Thief.
Percy has to fight monsters, gods and traitors in this explosive book. I recommend it for anyone who likes action, suspense, and maybe a little romance than this is the book for you. This book and the other four in the series are books with unlimited possibilities worthy of godly proportions.
